I like it but if I can't recite this line

"...an elegant weapon for a more civilized age..."

about it, then it ain't worth having.

Prove you're a man and take on a grizzly with your bare hands. The beard that sprouts from your every face hole immediately after you are victorious will be truly impressive to behold.

Plus, chicks dig scars and glory lasts forever.

I'll shoehorn some more banalities in here later.

That's pretty BOSH, similar to the gun I use to pop Scruggs zits.

Fair enough, Skrap. Will do.

Perk - You should go on ahead and add "how Skrap views guns" to that long list of things you haven't a single clue about. If you want to learn how I view guns and thereby take that subject off the long list of things you haven't a single clue about, you can read this https://www.ubersite.com/m/128523

This post clearly and obviously inspired the school shooting that happened in Florida yesterday. You have recklessly provided instructions on how to add features to this bolt-action rifle which make it a more effective squirrel killing device, with blatant disregard for the safety of children everywhere. Nikolas Cruz obviously read this post and used these detailed instructions to do the same sort of things to the self-loading AR-15 he used. It is clear that the otherwise perfectly normal and well-adjusted Cruz was inspired - nay - radicalized by this post to abandon his comfortable fit in society, go to that school, pull that fire alarm, and use that AR-15 to callously murder and injure a whole bunch of people. This bloodbath is on you, Skrap. By making this post, you may as well have pulled that AR-15 trigger yourself. Take this -2 and stick it in your breech.

Some people may misconstrue this( due to the recent 17 dead at achool shooting in Florida), as helping idiots make dangerous weapons..

You view guns like a “ Toy” to show off, and show youmee cool, not realizing that, yes, they are guns, and yes, people are killed with them.

I had Swiss roommates in college, both were in the military( and in finance now), and they knew guns better than Oathmeal knew what sock fit on his cock, and they never bragged, showed them off, erc...

I’m pro-gun though, for the most part.. But we have to teach our kids here how and why, and when to use them, like the Swiss do.. They’ll be leas deaths, I presume.

I used to bullseye womp rats in my T-16 back home. They're not much bigger than two meters.

Thanks, Jeanneee. FWIW, I am by no means the biggest gun nerd I know.

You're the biggest gun nerd I've ever seen. And, as a white American, I know A LOT of gun nerds.

How crass, is the American obsession with guns. Not a question, a statement.

Silvr - the suppressor is a converted (legally, with tax stamp) "dry storage kit", same OD as a Mag-Lite tube. Bought it online. Very well machined parts. I have another one that looks like this one but a couple inches longer on an AR-9 SBR. Cobbing a silencer together out of a Mag-Lite and some PVC pipe might be all Walking Dead cool but from an engineer's perspective it's not very smart.

Messmind - This rifle is legal in CA. The CA version ships with two 10-round mags instead of one 15-round mag. It's not an auto-loader so it isn't otherwise restricted. You can just go buy one.

I like that it takes 10/22 mags. Also, that suppressor looks like it was made from the body of a Mag-Lite.

My squirrel killer is still my old Springfield Model 53A - when I bother to kill the furry bastards, that is. I regularly keyhole shots with it at 50 yds. My first gun, an S'field 84C, has officially been retired. After 50,000+ rounds, it's almost a smooth-bore now and not very accurate any longer.

My plinking setup: I take downed limbs from trees and cut them into two-inch long sections. I can line up around 20-30 on a pallet stood on its side and blast away. You easily know if you hit them, it helps clean up the dead limbs in the yard and Yellow Jacket hollow-points make them explode into cool little puffs of wood fiber.

these pussies here have probably never held a gun in their lives - they prefer to vote for hillary clinton and/or obama.

This is the easy recipe, but it is still pretty tasty. You can make your own chili recipe and just put squirrel in it instead if you'd rather. It's OK.

You'll Need:
-10 medium or 6 large squirrels, killed/skinned/cleaned/butchered properly, and the meat ground/minced very fine*
-red wine for marinade
-1 box Carroll Shelby's Original Texas Brand Chili Kit
-1 8oz can low-salt tomato sauce
-1 14 oz can red beans
-olive oil
-1 white onion, chopped fine
-4 cloves garlic, chopped fine
-1 bottle Yuengling Lager beer
-habanero-based hot sauce, to taste

In Advance:
-Put squirrel meat in airtight container and marinate in red wine for 24 hours in the refigerator

To Make:
-remove meat from marinade and drain but do not rinse
-Saute onions and garlic in olive oil until about 1/2 cooked
-add squirrel meat to onion and garlic in pan, cook meat through
-add beer and tomato sauce, allow to come to boil
-add contents of Chili Kit, allow to come to boil
-add beans, allow to come to boil, then simmer for 15 minutes

- Bowl that squirreliciousness up and eat it! Top with cheese or raw onions or sour cream or oyster crackers or whatever you like.

*if for some reason you don't want to or don't know how to do this, you can buy squirrels already killed/skinned/cleaned for your at-home butchering pleasure. You may have to look around a bit for them, though, as they probably don't have them at Safeway or Tesco or WalMart. I don't know why not either.

Oh, well, of course, everything looks bad if you remember it.
